The world of Leonida

World

Why the map might be the real main character

Vice City is the headline name, but the trailers point at something bigger. Leonida looks less like a single city and more like a full region with its own strange corners and stories.

You can already spot a lot of different spaces just from a few minutes of footage. There are tight streets downtown with lit up windows, huge bridges, crowded highways, sleepy coastal towns, swampy back roads and open water that looks perfect for boats and low flying planes. News clips and signs mention places like Ambrosia and the Keys, along with a national park. That all points to a map where every area has a slightly different mood.

GTA five had a big world but many players spent most of their time inside Los Santos. GTA 6 feels more spread out. If Rockstar fill the quiet gaps with side characters, random events and small crimes, people will spend just as much time drifting through Leonida as they do grinding for money. The map will be the thing you remember years later, the place you log into just to drive for a bit with the radio on.
